Eagles producer Bill Sinzich (or however its spelled) almost always left a tape recorder running while bands were in the studio so that he could create compilations of outtakes and funny things, he’d press these to records and send them to friends and family during the holidays, and this was the Random Victims series. Two installments were dedicated to The Eagles.

around 2000 The Eagles released the "Selected Works" boxset which included four discs, and my mother had this compilation when I was growing up. The last track of "The Fast Lane" disc was a supercut of Eagles Random Victims moments, and this is the only official release these outakes ever got (though you can find bootlegs online.)
