Demo clip of my old 1822 (no longer owned by me) relaying an AMBER Alert from Ohio. This shows the quality of the DSP chip inside the SAGE, it’s just fine for voice messages like this. Of note, the noise blips here are particularly loud, this is a recording from November 2024 when my units audio levels were still poorly calobrated.

Nice, hope Mat can get the hang of it.
Oh yeah I’ll be more than happy to help. The hardest part is wiring up the monitor audio connections, but you can do it. THe only other thing, in order to configure it from a computer, you need to have one of the serial ports on the ENDEC set to "ENDECSET" which has to be changed from the front pannel buttons and screen, so you’d need some help with that. But beyond that we can get a good bit done.
I meant walk
got you, if and when I get 1 you and I are going to have to get on a call so you can wlk me through this.
This is not a mockup, this was a real alert from November 2024. I just posted this here as an example for Matt so he knows what a SAGE 1822 sounds like when passing on an alert.
I know this is a mock-up alurt, but I hope they find the child.
