Update on the EliteBook, crashing still happened, 99% sure it was overheating, so I rerepasted the CPU, went a bit overboard but I don’t want it crashing and having class notes vanish into the great digital void. Knock on wood, seems good now.
I have been using HP computers for a while, the only issue I had was with an HP all-in-one desktop, I upgraded it to Windows 10 but the sound didn’t work and I couldn’t get any drivers for the sound card that it had. I no longer have that desktop. my current HP computer is a laptop that I got for Christmas of 2021.
Well I was only on briefly, just quickly checking in and seeing if anyone was up. I still don’t really get the point of the sleeping room.
Also I got it working again, I reseated the RAM (actually swapped the sticks) and it started right up. The slots did feel a bit loosey goosey, but I shook it around once it was booted and no issues, so I don’t know what this thing was doing. Only reason I’ve got the HP instead of a Latitude or something is becaus I got a good deal on it.
Wow, you’re not the only one who’s been having tech issues today, last night after you went to bed, we had a frying, where Kevin was trying something with his version of the TT Utilities bot, and it nuked all the channels, thank God Brian was able to help restore shit back, and when you came on earlier, no one was around because we were all still in the sleeping room as we were exhausted from that shitstorm lol.
